Branding and Graphic Design Agency for D2C Brands

Branding is the set of decisions that make a product recognisable before anyone reads a word about it: the mark, the palette, the typography, the packaging, and the rules that keep all four consistent.

  • D2C & ecommerce
  • Fashion & apparel
  • Beauty & personal care
  • Health, wellness & nutrition
  • Salons, gyms & local services

A rebrand is one of the easiest projects to sell and one of the hardest to justify. If buyers are seeing your product and not buying it, the identity is rarely the reason. The price, the offer, the proof or the size of the demand usually is. We say that before quoting, because a handsome identity laid over a product nobody wants gets you a handsome identity and the same sales. Design earns its place when demand exists and the presentation is losing it at the shelf, the feed or the product page.

Where it pays is recognition and consistency. A brand that looks the same on the pack, the ad, the store and the courier box asks less of a buyer's memory, and a mark that still reads at forty pixels or on a printed label costs nothing extra if it is drawn that way first. That is the work here: a mark and a type system that hold at every size, packaging artwork a printer can accept without redrawing it, and rules your own team can follow without asking us. Ad creative and testing sit on our creative services page, not this one.

Who this is for

Is this the right fit?

  • New D2C brands needing an identity and packaging before the first production run
  • Brands whose logo was made once in a hurry and exists only as a JPEG
  • Teams whose ads, store and packaging each look like three different companies
  • Sellers moving off marketplace listings and needing a shelf-ready look of their own
  • Founders who want templates their team can fill in without booking a designer
Scope

What branding & design includes

Logo and identity system

A primary mark plus the variants real use demands: horizontal, stacked, icon-only, single-colour and reversed. Supplied as vector files with clear space and minimum sizes defined, so nobody ends up stretching a low-resolution export to fill a placement.

Packaging and label design

Artwork built on the printer's dieline rather than a flat rectangle, covering panel hierarchy, statutory information, barcode placement and colour specified in Pantone or CMYK. You get print-ready files and a flat mock-up for listing images.

Brand guidelines

A short document people will read: palette values for screen and print, the type scale, logo rules, photography direction, and the handful of things never to do. Long enough to settle an argument, short enough to open on a phone.

Social and ad templates

Editable layouts for the formats you publish weekly, in feed, story, carousel and static ad sizes, built so copy and product shots can be swapped without the grid collapsing or the type reflowing into the logo.

Store and listing assets

Infographic panels, material and size callouts, and lifestyle crops sized for your own product pages and for marketplace listings, where image rules are stricter and a rejected asset can stall a launch by a week.

Source file handover

Layered packaging artwork with fonts packaged, vector logo files, and templates in a tool your team already pays for. The working files are yours at the end, not only the flattened exports.

Process

How we run it

  1. Brief and category look

We study the shelf you are competing on, your rivals' packs and your existing assets before drawing anything. The most useful output here is often what to avoid, since whole categories converge on the same two palettes.

  2. Directions

Two or three distinct territories, each shown as a mark, a type pairing and one applied piece. Directions get judged on a pack and an ad, never as a logo floating in the middle of a white slide.

  3. Refine and apply

One direction is chosen and taken through to the pack, the templates and the store assets. Print specifications are confirmed with your printer before artwork is finalised, not after the first proof comes back wrong.

  4. Files and guidelines

Print-ready artwork, the vector logo pack, editable templates and the guidelines document are handed over together, with a walkthrough for whoever will be using them week to week.

Deliverables

What you actually get

  • Primary logo with horizontal, stacked, icon and single-colour variants
  • Vector source files plus sized exports for web and print
  • Packaging or label artwork supplied on the printer's dieline
  • Brand guidelines covering colour, type, logo use and imagery
  • Editable social and ad templates in your team's design tool
  • Product page and marketplace listing image set
  • Layered working files handed over at project close

How pricing works

Quoted per project, because an identity with one label is a different job from an identity plus eight SKUs across three pack sizes. Our pricing page carries the published starting points for the other services we sell, and design is scoped once we have seen the SKU list and the print requirements. We avoid open-ended monthly design retainers where the output is never defined.

Answers

Branding & Design: frequently asked

Will a rebrand fix our sales?

Usually not on its own. If traffic is arriving and nobody is buying, look first at price, offer, proof and delivery promise. Identity work helps when a product is being mistaken for a cheaper one, when packaging is losing on a crowded shelf, or when nothing looks like it came from the same company. Those are real problems with a design answer. Weak demand is not one of them.

What files should we get from a logo project?

Vector originals in an editable format, exports at the sizes you actually use, single-colour and reversed versions, and a note on clear space and minimum size. If a designer hands over only flattened images, every future placement means recreating the mark. Ask for the working files in writing before the project starts rather than after the invoice is paid.

How long does an identity and packaging project take?

An identity with a small set of applications is generally three to five weeks. Add packaging across several SKUs and it runs five to eight, with the printer's proofing cycle sitting outside that. The common cause of delay is not design time but decisions: ingredient lists, statutory copy and final product photography arriving late.

Can you work with our existing logo?

Often the better option. Plenty of marks are sound but have never been given variants, spacing rules, a palette that works in print, or a type system to sit beside them. Rebuilding around what you have keeps whatever recognition you have already paid for, and costs less than starting again from a blank page.

Do you design for print or only for screen?

Both, and they are different jobs. Screen work is RGB and forgiving. Print work needs the dieline, bleed, colour specified so it survives the press, and artwork checked against what your printer can hold. We send files to the printer's specification and review the proof with you before a run is approved.
