YouTube Ads Agency — Demand Generation and Video Action Campaigns
YouTube advertising buys attention before intent exists, so it has to be judged on the demand it creates and on view-through behaviour rather than on the last-click conversions a search campaign would report.

YouTube sits in an awkward place in most Indian accounts. It is cheap to reach people on and expensive to convert them in the same session, so a last-click report makes it look wasteful while a view-through report makes it look miraculous. Neither reading is honest. What the channel really does is create awareness and consideration that surfaces later as branded search, direct traffic and cheaper retargeting, and the work is making that happen at a cost the business can defend in a board meeting.
We run it accordingly. Creative is built hook-first, because the opening seconds decide whether anything after them is seen, and each concept is cut to the placement rather than one film pushed everywhere. Campaigns are split between Demand Gen, which exists to create interest, and Video Action, which exists to harvest it. Measurement combines platform view-through data with branded search movement and, where budget allows one to be read, a holdout. No single number is asked to carry the argument.
Is this the right fit?
- D2C brands whose Meta account has run out of fresh audiences to reach
- Products that need demonstration or explanation before anyone buys
- Brands holding video assets that were never cut for paid placement
- App and subscription businesses where the install is not the real conversion
- Accounts where branded search volume has flattened and needs feeding
What youtube ads includes
Channel fit assessment
An honest read on whether YouTube belongs in your mix this quarter. Low-consideration impulse products on a small budget usually do better putting the same money into Meta creative volume, and we say so before taking the work on.
Demand Gen and Video Action structure
Separate campaigns for creating interest and for capturing it, with audiences, bidding and creative chosen per job. Mixing the two under one campaign is the most common reason YouTube results come back looking inconclusive.
Hook-first creative direction
Scripts written so the proposition lands in the opening seconds, with distinct openings tested against the same body footage. Each concept is cut to skippable, short and bumper lengths rather than trimmed down from one long film.
Audience and placement targeting
Custom segments built from search behaviour and from category channels, plus your own site and customer lists for retargeting. Placement exclusions applied and reviewed so budget does not drift quietly into low-value inventory.
Ad sequencing
Sequences so that someone who watched the first video meets a different second one instead of the same fifteen seconds again. Sequencing is where YouTube stops behaving like a reach buy and starts behaving like a funnel.
Measurement that survives scrutiny
View-through conversions reported separately from click-through, branded search and direct traffic tracked alongside spend, and a geo or audience holdout where the budget supports one, so contribution is argued from evidence.
How we run it
Decide whether it fits
Price point, consideration length, existing assets and budget reviewed together, then a straight answer on whether YouTube is likely to earn its place.
Brief the creative
Hooks, lengths and variants planned before anything is shot or recut, informed by what the rest of the account already knows about the audience.
Launch split by job
Demand Gen and Video Action live as separate campaigns, with clean conversion definitions and enough budget behind each to produce a readable result.
Watch retention, not only cost
Drop-off curves per creative show where attention is lost. The next cut repairs that specific point instead of replacing the whole concept.
Prove the contribution
Branded search, direct traffic and assisted conversions reviewed against spend, with a holdout test run when the budget is large enough to read one.
What you actually get
- Written channel-fit assessment before any spend
- Demand Gen and Video Action campaign build
- Video scripts with multiple hook variants per concept
- Format and length cuts of each asset for its placement
- Custom segment and retargeting audience setup
- Ad sequence configuration
- Retention and drop-off reporting per creative
- View-through and branded-search contribution report
How pricing works
Management is a monthly retainer, starting from the published single managed channel price of ₹25,000 a month on our pricing page and rising with the number of markets, languages and campaign types in play. Video production is quoted separately, because a presenter-led recut and a multi-location shoot are not comparable pieces of work. We give a firm number once we have seen the assets you already own and the account they would run in.

YouTube Ads: frequently asked
Do YouTube ads actually drive sales for Indian brands?
They drive demand that converts elsewhere far more often than they drive a same-session purchase. For cheap products needing no explanation, the money usually works harder as Meta creative volume. For considered purchases such as appliances, supplements with a mechanism to explain, services and courses, YouTube reliably lifts branded search and makes retargeting cheaper. That is the honest case for the channel.
What is the difference between Demand Gen and Video Action campaigns?
Video Action is built to win a click and a conversion now, and it reports like a direct-response campaign. Demand Gen is built to create interest across YouTube, Shorts and Discover, and is judged on how much new demand appears afterwards. Running both inside one campaign makes each set of numbers unreadable, so we keep them separate and fund them for different jobs.
How long should a YouTube ad be?
Long enough to make the argument, short enough that the argument starts immediately. In practice we cut most concepts at three lengths: a six-second bumper for reach, a short version for skippable placements, and a longer cut aimed at people who have already watched something. The opening seconds carry the weight in all three, so that is where the writing effort goes.
Should we trust view-through conversions?
Not on their own. A view-through conversion means somebody saw the ad and later converted without clicking, which is genuine influence in some cases and coincidence in others. We report it separately from click-through, watch whether branded search and direct traffic move with spend, and run a holdout when budget allows. One number in isolation proves very little.
Can we reuse our existing brand film as a YouTube ad?
Sometimes, though rarely as it stands. Brand films tend to open on a logo, a landscape and a mood, which is precisely the stretch that decides whether anyone keeps watching. We normally recut existing footage with a new opening and on-screen text, which costs a fraction of a fresh shoot and is usually enough to test whether the channel works for you.
