Google Shopping Agency — Feed Quality First, Bids Second
In Shopping, the feed is the campaign. Your product titles and attributes decide which searches you appear for: bidding only decides how much you pay once you already qualify.
- D2C & ecommerce
- Fashion & apparel
- Beauty & personal care
- Health, wellness & nutrition
Brands routinely spend months tuning Shopping bids while the actual constraint is a feed with truncated titles, missing GTINs, wrong Google product categories and a quarter of the catalogue disapproved without anyone noticing.
We work the feed first because it is where the leverage is, then structure campaigns so high-margin and high-performing products get the budget rather than whatever happens to get the most clicks.
Is this the right fit?
- Shopify and WooCommerce brands with a large catalogue
- Accounts with significant product disapprovals in Merchant Center
- Stores where Shopping spend concentrates on low-margin products
- Brands running Performance Max with no visibility into product-level results
- Sellers entering Shopping for the first time
What google shopping includes
Merchant Center diagnostics
Every disapproval, warning and suspension risk identified and resolved: policy issues, missing attributes, price and availability mismatches, and landing-page discrepancies.
Product title and attribute optimisation
Titles rewritten so the terms buyers actually search appear early, plus correct product type, Google category, brand, GTIN, size, colour and material.
Feed rules and supplemental feeds
Automated rules and supplemental feeds so improvements persist through catalogue updates instead of being overwritten by the next sync.
Campaign segmentation
Products split by margin, price band and performance so budget follows profit rather than volume.
Performance Max with product visibility
Asset groups and listing groups structured so you can read product-level performance, plus brand exclusions to reveal genuine incremental contribution.
Promotions and merchant programmes
Merchant promotions, sale price annotations and product ratings configured where eligible, since these directly affect click-through in a crowded Shopping row.
How we run it
Feed audit
Full catalogue health check: disapprovals, missing attributes, title quality and category mapping, quantified as a percentage of catalogue and of revenue.
Fix and enrich
Corrections applied at source or through feed rules, with GTIN and attribute gaps closed.
Restructure
Shopping and PMax rebuilt around margin and performance tiers.
Bid on value
Move to value-based bidding once margin data is in the feed and conversion values are accurate.
Monitor continuously
Feed health checked on a schedule, because catalogue changes silently break things every month.
What you actually get
- Merchant Center health report with all disapprovals resolved
- Optimised product titles and attribute set
- Feed rules and supplemental feed configuration
- Segmented Shopping and Performance Max structure
- Margin or profit data integrated into bidding where available
- Monthly feed health and product-level performance report
How pricing works
Feed remediation is usually a one-time project priced by catalogue size. Ongoing Shopping and Performance Max management is a monthly retainer, often combined with the broader Google Ads engagement.

Google Shopping: frequently asked
Why are my products disapproved in Merchant Center?
The common causes in India are price or availability mismatches between the feed and the landing page, missing or invalid GTINs, prohibited or restricted category content, missing returns and refund policy pages, and inaccessible landing pages. Most are fixable within days once identified precisely.
How important are product titles in Shopping?
They are the single most important field. Google matches queries largely against the title, so front-loading brand, product type and key attributes such as size, colour and material determines which searches you appear for at all. Retail titles copied straight from a catalogue rarely match search language.
Do I need GTINs to run Shopping ads in India?
For branded products that have them, yes: omitting them limits eligibility and hurts performance. For genuinely own-brand or handmade products without GTINs, you set the identifier exists flag to false and supply brand and MPN instead. Inventing GTINs causes suspensions.
Should Shopping run separately from Performance Max?
Standard Shopping gives far better visibility and control; PMax usually delivers more volume but reports coarsely. Many accounts run both, with PMax for scale and a controlled Shopping or Search layer for the products and queries that need explicit management.
How do we stop Shopping spending on low-margin products?
Push margin or profit data into the feed as a custom label, segment campaigns by those labels, and set different targets per tier. Without margin in the feed, the bidding algorithm optimises revenue and will happily scale your least profitable products.
Can you work with our Shopify feed app?
Yes: the common Shopify feed apps all support rules and supplemental data. Where an app is too limiting, we set up a supplemental feed in Merchant Center so improvements survive catalogue syncs.
